# Generative (coming soon)

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Coming soon.** Generative launches aren't open yet. The option is visible in the wizard, and this page describes how it will work at launch.
{% endhint %}

Big collections assembled from layered traits: backgrounds, bodies, outfits, auras, whatever your set is built from. Every trait carries its own rarity percentage, and a card's overall rarity is the **combined rarity of all its traits**. A card stacked with low-percentage traits lands in the top tier; a card of everyday traits is a Common. Built for 1K to 10K collections where collectors hunt for the rare combinations.

## How collectors experience it

The classic blind-pull curve. A card's traits, and the rarity that follows from them, stay hidden until the card is minted and revealed. Because rarity comes from trait math, the tiers (Legendary / Epic / Rare / Common) reflect how genuinely scarce each combination is, and the full odds are public on the collection page. The deck is shuffled and locked at launch, so nobody (including us) knows which pull hits.

## Walkthrough

1. Choose **Generative** in the wizard.
2. Upload your **trait layers** and set each trait's rarity percentage. Rarer traits appear on fewer cards.
3. Set your **total supply**. Cards are assembled from your layers, and each one's tier is derived from the combined rarity of the traits it drew.
4. Review the resulting tier curve, set your price, approve one transaction.

## The fields

| Field                          | What it does                                                                                                   |
| ------------------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Trait layers** | Your layered artwork (background, body, accessories, and so on). Cards are assembled from one trait per layer. |
| **Trait rarity %** | How often each trait appears. The combined rarity of a card's traits determines its tier. |
| **Total supply** | How many cards exist, up to 100,000. |
| **Rarity curve** | The resulting Legendary / Epic / Rare / Common split, shown before you launch. |
| **Name / Description / Cover** | Same as every collection; see [Launching a Collection](/tigermint-docs/for-creators/launching.md).             |
| **Mint price** | Per card, minimum 0.2 GRAM. |
| **Sale phases** | VIP / Whitelist / Public windows with allowlists. |

## Good to know

* Tiers are computed from the trait weights, so a Legendary really is the statistically rarest combination in the deck, not just a label.
* Per-tier minted counts are public on the collection page, so collectors always know how many Legendaries remain.
