# Editions

A **curated set of artworks, each minted in multiple copies**, with rarer pieces getting fewer copies. This is the format for deliberate rarity: a drop of 10 artworks where the grail exists 5 times and the commons exist 100 times each.

## How collectors experience it

Every copy of every artwork goes into one shuffled, locked deck. Collectors pull a card blind; rarer artworks simply appear less often in the deck. The collection page shows the full rarity breakdown, so the odds are always public.

## Walkthrough

1. Choose **Editions** in Quick Launch or Pro Mode.
2. Upload your artworks: images, video, or Lottie animations (same formats as 1/1s, up to 50 MB each).
3. Assign each artwork a **rarity tier** and set how many **editions** each tier mints. Rarer tier = fewer copies.
4. Set your price, fill in the details, approve one transaction.

## The fields

| Field                          | What it does                                                                                       |
| ------------------------------ | -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Artwork files**              | Your curated set. Each file is one artwork, minted in multiple editions.                           |
| **Rarity per artwork**         | Legendary, Epic, Rare, or Common. Drives edition counts and the card's badge.                      |
| **Editions per tier**          | How many copies each tier's artworks mint. Edition counts must add up to your total supply.        |
| **Total supply**               | Calculated for you: the sum of all editions across all artworks.                                   |
| **Name / Description / Cover** | Same as every collection; see [Launching a Collection](/tigermint-docs/for-creators/launching.md). |
| **Mint price**                 | Per card, minimum 0.2 GRAM.                                                                        |
| **Sale phases**                | (Pro Mode) VIP / Whitelist / Public windows.                                                       |

## Good to know

* Rarity here is real scarcity, not just a label. A Legendary with 5 editions is literally 20x scarcer than a Common with 100.
* The per-tier minted/total counts show live on your collection page, so collectors can see how many of each tier are still in the deck.
