# FAQ

## The beta

**Is Tigermint live? Does it cost real money?** Tigermint is in **beta on TON testnet**, so nothing costs real money. You'll need a testnet wallet and free testnet $GRAM from the faucet. The [Getting Started](/tigermint-docs/getting-started/getting-started.md) guide walks through setup in two minutes.

**Why won't my wallet connect / why is my balance missing?** Most likely your wallet is on **mainnet**. Switch to a testnet account (in Tonkeeper: Settings → tap the logo 5 times → Add Wallet → Testnet Account) and reconnect.

## Collectors

**What does "blind pull" mean?** You don't know which card you'll get until you mint it. The artwork and rarity are hidden until your transaction confirms and the card is revealed.

**Can anyone see which pulls hold the rare cards?** No. The order is shuffled and locked at launch, in a way no one can predict, including the Tigermint team. Rarity is only revealed once a card is minted.

**What's the difference between pulling a card and ripping a pack?** Pulling a card is every collection on Tigermint today: mint blind, reveal instantly. **Packs** belong to [Wild Packs](/tigermint-docs/for-creators/wild-packs.md) (coming soon). There you pull a sealed pack and then choose to **rip it** for the card inside or **sell it back** unopened at the current pack price.

**Do I really own what I pull?** Yes. Every pull is a standard TON NFT minted straight to your wallet. You can hold, transfer, or sell it on TON marketplaces.

**Are there hidden fees?** No. You pay exactly the listed price. The card's on-chain storage funding and gas are already included, and the full breakdown is public on the [Fees & Payouts](/tigermint-docs/for-creators/fees.md) page.

**My NFT's image isn't showing in my wallet. Is something wrong?** Almost always it's just your wallet caching the image. It updates shortly, or you can use your wallet or explorer's "refresh metadata" option.

**I pulled an animated NFT but my wallet shows a still image.** That's expected in grid views, where wallets show a thumbnail frame. Open the item (in your wallet, on Tigermint, or on a marketplace like Getgems) and the animation plays.

**Why can't I mint right now?** A few possibilities: the active phase is allowlist-only and your wallet isn't on it, the collection is sold out, or you've reached the per-wallet limit. Check the collection page for the current phase.

**A transaction failed with "failed to calculate fee."** This is usually a temporary wallet or network hiccup. Wait a moment and try again.

## Creators

**Do I need to know how to code?** No. You upload your art, fill in a few fields, set a price, and approve one transaction. Your collection goes live on TON.

**What file types can I upload?** Still images (PNG, JPG, GIF, WEBP), video (MP4, WEBM), Lottie animations (JSON), and Telegram stickers (.tgs), up to 50 MB per file. Animated pieces get a still thumbnail captured automatically so they display everywhere. See [Launching a Collection](/tigermint-docs/for-creators/launching.md) for details.

**Can I mint Telegram stickers?** Yes. Drop your .tgs files in like any other artwork. They're converted to standard Lottie animations that play in wallets and marketplaces.

**How much does it cost to launch?** A one-time **0.5 GRAM**, plus a little network gas. See [Fees & Payouts](/tigermint-docs/for-creators/fees.md).

**When and how do I get paid?** Instantly and automatically. Your share of each mint arrives in your wallet as part of the buyer's transaction. Tigermint never holds your funds.

**Can I change the price after launching?** Prices are locked once the first NFT is minted, so early buyers are always treated fairly. Different phases can have different prices, though: each mint is authorized at its phase's exact price and the smart contract enforces it. Set your prices carefully before going live.

**What's the difference between Quick Launch and Pro Mode?** Quick Launch is the fast path. Pro Mode adds multiple sale phases, allowlists, and reveal options. See [Launching a Collection](/tigermint-docs/for-creators/launching.md).

**Which collection types can I launch?** [Unique 1/1s](/tigermint-docs/for-creators/unique-1-1.md) and [Editions](/tigermint-docs/for-creators/open-editions.md) today, with [Generative](/tigermint-docs/for-creators/generative.md) and [Wild Packs](/tigermint-docs/for-creators/wild-packs.md) coming soon. Each has its own guide.

**Can I keep the art hidden until a reveal day?** Yes. Enable **Hidden until reveal** at launch, then trigger the reveal from your dashboard whenever you're ready.

**What are sale phases?** Time windows that share your supply. For example a VIP window, then Whitelist, then Public. They don't add up to more than your total supply.
